BEEBE (SAN FRANSISCO, CA)
Hello! My name's Beebe and I'm stoked to get to share my week with ya'll
via Vivian's lovely blog. This week was a whirlwind and I've been
looking forward to finally slowing down and recapping it, so here we go!
I don't usually put too much thought/time into
concocting creative outfits due to San Francisco weather/biking
constraints, so figured I'd keep it real and wear exactly what I
normally would--aka a lot of black. On the Tuesday after Labor Day, I
had a formal meeting, so I wore this simple dress that's ~so exciting~
only to me because it's the most recent article of clothing I bought
(and that it was $2). I avoid most jewelry, but I'm a sucker for gold
and black, and this rape whistle around my neck is as practical as it is
pretty. Those boots are also one of my favorites, from Marais USA. Man,
I didn't realize I'd have so much to say about this outfit, but it's
probably because I wear it a lot.
I have about 20 black tops and 10 black dresses, but can't stop
buying more. I've been obsessed with gold and black for the past year,
and just got a Herschel backpack with gold zippers that I'm loving. FYI I
asked my coworker to take the photos, so we'll be seeing many more
scenic spots in our office...
I stayed out too late on Wednesday and woke up with two minutes
to get dressed, so I wore exactly what I did the night before. (Another
thing I am really into now and forever is going to hip hop clubs and
dancing like no one's watching.) The shirt and these leggings are
actually undercover PJs that will take me from bed to the office to the
club back to the bed again...except seeing how sheer it is in this photo
has made me rethink the office.
On a beautiful Friday afternoon, I discovered the magic of
natural lighting and tried to do a "sessy" pose. I was actually falling
asleep behind my shades. Again, I buy a ton of black clothes so I don't
have to think about matching. I love ripped shorts, but try to wear them
only on casual Fridays (if that's still a thing).
Since it's a short week, I decided to add a typical biking
outfit, which is what I put on right after we took the previous photo. I
always have to change into my flats, a warm sweatshirt, and throw on
some shorts if I'm wearing a dress. I've gotten a lot of
compliments/crap on my sweatshirt this week, and it's not even new, I
got it last year in Portland. It's the gift that keeps giving. Also,
those baked Cheetos in the corner were delish.
Thank you guys for reading, and thanks Vivian for hosting me!
